Rik Fire (aka Manjot Singh Khalsa) is a psychotherapist in private practice, sacred healer, warrior, interfaith minister, teacher and co-creator of Radikal Healing. Radikal Healing is a process of life transformation utilizing a complement of modalities tailored to each client’s individual needs including psychotherapy, meditation, Kundalini yoga, Shamanic technology, energy medicine, life coaching and supervised fasting. The Be Radikal Suite in Montgomery County, PA & Radikal Healing Suite in Asbury Park, NJ are healing centers that provide opportunities for people to embrace the Radikal Life they were meant to live.
Heike is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Interfaith Minister, Reiki Master & Teacher, and Certified Hypnotherapist. She obtained her Masters Degree from New York University and specializes in trauma treatment and grief counseling. Heike continued her studies in EFT, EMDR, Specialized Energy Kinesiology, and Aromatherapy. Depending on her client’s needs she uses a variety of holistic modalities to connect body, mind, and spirit to foster overall wellness. Heike works closely together with the transgender population and she is the co-organizer of the Transgender Day of Remembrance Asbury Park. Heike is bi-lingual in English & German and moved to USA from Germany as an adult.
Azhar is a Masters Level Licensed Social Worker. She believes in second chances and that with support, every human being has the potential to bounce back from adversity. Azhar graduated from Temple University with a Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy and a Masters degree in Social Work. She has over 14 years of experience working in mental health. She has worked in adult partial hospitalization programs, outpatient mental health programs and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings. Azhar received training from Dr. Marsha Linehan for the DBT initiative in Philadelphia. She is currently receiving clinical supervision and working towards LCSW licensure. She has worked with clients with a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic illness and self-esteem issues. Azhar's work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy and Solution-focused therapy. Azhar believes in providing a space where individuals can express concerns and challenges openly without judgment. She uses an eclectic approach to fit the unique needs of each client.
Chris’ main goal in his work is client empowerment. For over 20 years, he has assisted people of all ages in developing their unique strengths so as to better meet present and any future challenges. Chris’ approach is uniquely tailored and customized to the client’s individual/couple/familial circumstances. He has a variety of skills and areas of expertise as a psychotherapist, energy healer, hypnotist, interfaith minister and spirit communicator. Chris also has extensive experience as a teacher and mentor of metaphysical studies. Chris’ hypnotherapy training focused in regression and releasement. He has vast experience addressing and assisting clients in resolving many emotional/behavioral health needs, as well as those of a spiritual or energetic nature. Coming from a practitioner-client teamwork perspective, he will assist in identifying and utilizing past successes and current strengths to help provide understanding, support, and direction.
Hanna is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an MS degree in Psychology from California Polytechnic University. She also has an MA in Adult Education & Global Change from Linköping University in Sweden. She is Swedish-American and is bilingual in Swedish and English. She spent 5 years living in Japan and Thailand where she worked with education, international relations, meditation and Buddhist studies. In addition, she has travelled the world extensively, including several trips to India to deepen her study of yoga practices and philosophy. Hanna has worked with grief and trauma using Mindfulness and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She draws from a range of therapeutic techniques based on the client’s needs, experiences and interests. These therapeutic tools include talk therapy, sand tray therapy, meditation, mindfulness, narrative therapy, relaxation techniques, pranayama and more. Hanna assists and witnesses the client’s process of reconnecting with their inner wisdom in a safe, compassionate and supportive environment.
Michelle is a Masters Level Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Michelle serves a range of clients, including those with depression, anxiety, addictions, chronic illness, codependency, relationship issues, trauma/PTSD, mood disorders, in need of coping skills, grief challenges, sexual addiction, those who are seeking reduction in symptoms and looking to free themselves from short term or long term issues. A good fit for Michelle are clients who are seeking to reduce the "busy mind", feel a sense of peace/inner calmness, and have a feeling of comfort in their own skin. She has experience working with clients within the LGBTQ community. Michelle provides a compassionate presence and focus on the mind/body/spirit. She provides psychotherapy services for individuals and couples using a holistic approach to therapy. Services include strength-based counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness focus on the mind/body/spirit connection. Holistic Services include: Use and teaching of EFT (commonly referred to as tapping), Relaxation and breathing techniques, Meditation, Reiki healing energy treatments and Earth based practices. Michelle has a strong connection to nature, hiking and camping in the woods, kayaking, being in and near bodies of water, yoga, and eating healthy vegetarian foods.
Mika is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience in mental health, providing psychotherapy in individual and group settings. She graduated with her Masters of Social Work from Temple University and continues to learn and grow. Mika provides a supportive, validating and encouraging environment and is genuinely interested in helping clients feel empowered to self-explore and overcome barriers to elicit change in their lives. She sees therapy as a joint process between clinician and client and practices from an eclectic approach. Therapy is tailored to address the individual’s needs and builds on techniques from approaches including Mindfulness, Trial-Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and other approaches. Mika is bi-lingual in English and Hebrew.
Jessica has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and is completing her Masters of Arts at Georgian Court University, majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a focus in Substance Abuse Counseling (graduation December, 2021). She is Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is also pursuing her license as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Additionally, she is a Reiki practitioner. She has experience working with both the mental health and substance use population, providing both individual and group counseling to her clientele in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Jessica has worked with clients experiencing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and self-esteem challenges. The primary therapeutic modalities she employs include mindfulness, client-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and dialectical behavioral therapy. She believes in the ability of assisting others in finding themselves again, and letting their true self flourish. She believes in using an integrative approaches to individualize the therapeutic experience. Jessica enjoys exploring new opportunities for growth in both her personal and professional life. In her free time, you can find her practicing yoga, meditating, biking, reading, cooking, and volunteering at her local animal shelter.
As the International Liaison, Amber is responsible for all tasks related to Radikal Healing transitioning from a historically USA-only based business with locations in PA & NJ to pursuing a location in Europe. Amber received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgian Court University and a Master's degree in Education, with a focus on School Counseling. She is currently working toward pursuing the State of New Jersey licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
As billing coordinator, Maria is responsible for submitting claims to health insurance providers and answering client questions about claims and billing. A Texas native, Maria received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She works full time as a Preschool teacher in New Jersey. Maria is bi-lingual in English & Spanish and moved to USA from Mexico as a child.
Crystal has been working in Medical Benefit Verification in various capacities for 9 years. She is the direct link between the clients and to the insurance providers. Crystal communicates with clients to share the most accurate benefit information related to co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles. As Benefits Coordinator, she is also responsible for securing and maintaining Radikal Healing as an in-network provider with most health insurance companies, not just local to Pennsylvania and New Jersey, but nationally, as well. In her other areas of work outside of Radikal Healing, she works in both the school district and also during the winter season, on the ski mountain.
